Day for Life 2018
This Sunday the 7th October, Day for Life will be celebrated throughout Ireland. The theme is ‘Human Trafficking’. Please see flyers at the back of the church.
‘The trade in human beings violates the God-given dignity of so many of our brothers and sisters, and constitutes a true crime against humanity’ (Pope Francis November 2016).
We pray for the victims of human trafficking that they may be helped to re-build their lives after the traumatic experiences they have gone through. Amen.
Rosary for the Protection of Life Rosary on the Coast for Life and Faith, this Sunday 7th of October at 2.30pm. Please join at one of the 129 locations around Ireland and with 42 other countries around the world to pray for the protection of Life and the restoration of Faith. Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary
Join us in praying the Rosary this weekend Sunday 7th in Patrickswell church at 6pm. We pray for faith and life through Our Lady’s intercession.
Patrickswell: Sister Muriel from Medjugorje would like to thank most sincerely the people of Patrickswell for their very generous donation received from Joan O’Brien. A total of €1,225 was collected, food for the poor people in Herzegovina is being bought.
Baby and Toddler Group
Tuesdays from 10.00 to 11.30am in Ballybrown/Clarina Resource Centre. All are welcome.
Hedge School Cottage:- Sunday night at 7.00pm on RTE Nuacht there will be some coverage of the opening of the Cottage in Newtown which took place on 2nd September 2018.
Thursday Club:- Exercises with John Fitness for Fun takes place each Thursday at 10.30am. Club follows at 11.30am, why not come and join this great club and see what we have to offer.
Bowls on Wednesdays at 2.05pm in Ballybrown Community Centre, all welcome.
Joint Pastoral Meeting on Tuesday 9th October at 7.30pm in Ballybrown/Clarina Community Centre. We hope all Committee members will attend this meeting.
